The new model, which will be housed in a aluminum body like its predecessor will come with according to Nikon "large control buttons to the user-friendly rotary multi selector carefully positioned to provide intuitive operation".

The COOLPIX S210 will be available in a choice of Bright Silver, Urban Black, Pink, Blue, Purple, or Red body colours.

Other tech specs include electronic VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilization, improved Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, D-Lighting, 15 scene modes, a macro shooting from 10cm, three movie modes with sound, plus time-lapse movie mode, 52MB of internal memory and PictBridge support.
