Microsoft announced the Xbox One will ship with system-wide SkyDrive integration when it becomes available 22 November. The new integration will take SkyDrive past the Xbox 360's app, and extend it to ability to open photo albums from channels in the OneGuide, play music alongside a slide show with Xbox Music, and control the whole app with gestures and voice, thanks to Kinect.
“Xbox: Go to SkyDrive” was shown off in a video with Jeff Henshaw, group program manager at Microsoft. Also highlighted were the slew of voice commands with Kinect, photo-scaling with panoramas, and how quickly a set of photos can be turned into a slideshow. The real focus here is media, as with the rest of the Xbox One.
