BSkyB's Now TV internet television service offers a new package that dramatically increases the amount of content available through the Now TV box, and now it is available to iOS and LG devices.
Called Now TV Entertainment Month Pass, the package works with compatible iPhone, iPad, selected LG Smart TVs and selected LG media devices. Customers can register up to four devices at once.
It's basically a contract-free way to stream 10 subscription TV channels, including ones like Sky Living, Discovery and MTV. It even offers currently popular shows like American Horror Story and Dracula, as well as box sets of shows like The Wire and Mad Dogs. All content is available both live and on demand via a pay-as-you-go basis, with an introductory price of just £4.99 a month.
The Now TV Entertainment Month Pass has been available to watch through the Now TV Box, PS3, Roku, Macs and PCs since launch with Xbox. Selected Android smartphones will also soon be compatible, thanks a phased roll out that was originally revealed in October.
The introductory price of £4.99 a month for the entertainment services is available for customers signing up before 31 March 2014. Sky has yet to reveal how much the cost will rise to after that time.
