Sky unveils this year's designer Sky+HD box collection, lobsters, blood and Minnie Mouse

Sky has once again asked a collection of designers and stars to come up with their own unique designs for a limited-edition run of its Sky+HD boxes - in this case the latest Sky+HD 2TB box.

Fashion designers Roland Mouret, Giles Deacon and rising star Kit Neale, plus former supermodel Sophie Dahl, each provided a design that adorns a special-edition box. Themes include romance from Dahl, gritty contemporary drama from Mouret, nature documentaries from Neale, and Deacon using Disney icon Minnie Mouse to represent Sky's Disney movie channel.

"To celebrate our new Sky+HD 2TB box with built-in Wi-Fi, we wanted to bring to life the content now available On Demand," said Luke Bradley-Jones, brand director of TV Products at BSkyB.

"The service offers something for everyone including romantic and magical drama, a host of Disney movies and fascinating nature documentaries. The limited-edition designer boxes represent the fantastic variety of TV that you can watch with Sky On Demand."

The limited edition boxes are available from sky.com/designerboxes until the end of 2013. You can currently register your interest for the design you'd most like on the site. The price is £149 for each box.
