Currys and PC World has announced that it is making its own-branded version of the Nvidia Tegra Note to be available in its stores and online in the UK from 15 November. The Advent Vega Tegra Note 7 will be available from pre-order from the retailer from tomorrow, 7 November.

Powered by Nvidia's Tegra 4 processing board, the 7-inch (1280 x 800) tablet features a 72-core GeForce graphics chip and quad-core Cortex-A15 processor with a fifth battery-saver core. It is claimed to be the fastest Android tablet on the block.

As well as offering full stock Android, the Tegra Note 7 has been designed to offer the best gaming experience on the market. It also includes a stylus with the Nvidia DirectStylus software and technology.

Nvidia PureAudio is on board to offer a wide frequency range for sound, with front-facing stereo speakers and a bass reflex port include.

A rear-facing camera 5-megapixel camera and front-facing 0.3-megapixel cam are offered for photography and video calling respectively. Plus, the tablet offers access to the TegraZone gaming hub for access to games optimised for Tegra. It also supports a variety of game controllers.

Battery is quoted as more than 10 hours for HD video playback.

It will cost £179.99 when it hits the streets.
