French company Archos has added another tablet to its Gen 11 range, called the Archos 101 XS 2.
It's a 10.1-inch 1,280-by-800-resolution tablet with a Coverboard magnetic keyboard cover that snaps on to the device. The first-generation Archos 101 XS had a similar keyboard cover.
Other features include front-facing speakers, full suite of Google apps and OfficeSuite Pro 6 for MS Office document support. As for specs, it has front-facing speakers, 1.6GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
As usuall, low-end to mid-range tablets don't come with the latest and greatest OS from Google. So, you're looking at Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean for this device. The tablet is set to land in the UK this December. It will cost £249.99, and be available from the Archos web store.
Check out Pocket-lint's review of the Archos 101 XS to see what else Archos has been capable of in the past. Our first impressions were good, though we noted the excellent Nexus 7 was substantially cheaper.
