Gizmondo to relaunch in 2008?

Is the Gizmondo handheld games console to make a return to the market in 2008? A new teaser site certainly suggests this is the case.

The timing for this news to emerge seems a little on the suspicious side considering that Ferrari-smashing former Gizmondo boss Stefan Eriksson has just been released early from his American jail sentence, or maybe in fact that's why...

The site, only set up on 2nd January, states that "The Legend is Reborn" and hints towards a "Gizmondo Live Marketplace" as well as some "Exciting Physic Worlds". There is no mention of Smart Ads.

It's hard to believe that there are folk out there who would want to try and resurrect Tiger Telematics' failed gaming device, but then it's hard to believe anyone bought the thing first time round. Oh, that's right - they didn't.
