Three has announced that it is now selling the latest Nexus 7 7-inch tablet. But as it's the Wi-Fi-only model, you'll need a separate Three Mi-Fi hotspot to use it on the network.

The version being sold in-store comes with 16GB of storage, Android 4.3, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM. It retails at £199.

Although the 32GB LTE model is available in the UK, that's only through O2 or Google itself at the moment. Three offers the cheaper tablet, therefore, with the option of combining the package with its Huawei E5220 MiFi. That way you can also use the hotspot with other devices at the same time.

The hotspot device will cost £29.99 on a one-month rolling contract at £15.99 per month for 5GB of data. Alternatively, pay £49.99 up front and you can have it on a pay-as-you-go contract with Three offering the initial 1GB of data pre-loaded.

"The Nexus 7 has incorporated the latest technologies into an affordable tablet that is fast and looks impressive," said Sylvia Chind, head of devices at Three. "Combined with a MiFi it’s a great tablet option to make the most of downtime when commuting, whether that’s catching up on work emails or simply playing your favourite game."
