Want to know how to get views on YouTube? Make a video quitting your job as a video producer because your boss favours views over content.

Producer Marina Shifrin had enough of her boss allegedly demanding that the company she worked for make news videos purely to get views, sacrificing the quality of the information within the clips in the process. So she went about handing in her notice in the most illustrative way possible. She posted a video of her resignation in the form of expressive dance set to Kanye West's Gone.

The end result has been over 4.5 million views in just two days. Oh, and we think Shifrin's boss got the message.

Shifrin is also a writer and comedian. You can check out her blog at marinavshifrin.com.
