Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition price and date confirmed
Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition release date of 10 October, when it will be available in stores, with pre-orders opening on 27 September.
Unfortunately, the news applies only to the US at the moment, with Samsung highlighting its availability from the likes of BestBuy and Amazon: we'll be sure to update this story if we get details of UK pricing.
For those in the US, it will cost you $549.99 (£343) or $599.99 for 16GB and 32GB storage respectively.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition was announced at IFA 2013, bringing with it a 10.1-inch display with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, as well as the S Pen which characterises Samsung's Note family of devices.
At the core of the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is a Exynos 5420 quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM, promising great performance. There's an 8-megapixel camera on the back for those shots you can't afford to miss when waving your tablet around.
We found the display to be great, with excellent viewing angles when we first got our mitts on it at IFA 2013.
Aside from the specs, Samsung has renewed its focus on content, giving 50GB of Dropbox storage, a new My Magazine interface and lots of options for multitasking.
We'll update if we catch wind of a UK price.
