When Grand Theft Auto Online launches on 1 October GTA V players will be able to buy virtual money using real-world cash.
The world-blending option was spotted on Rockstar's website in a publicly viewable XML file. It reveals the varying options for GTA money that can be bought in card form.
The Red Shark Cash Card will give $100,000 of in-game money, while the Tiger Shark Cash Card nets $200,000. The Bull Shark Cash Card equates to $500,000, and finally the Great White Shark Cash Card will grant $1,250,000. What these virtual cash bundles will cost in the real world remains to be seen.
"Cash is king in this town," the item's description reads. "Solve your money problems and help get what you want across Los Santos and Blaine County with the purchase of cash packs for Grand Theft Auto Online. All purchased cash is automatically deposited into your character's bank account. Spend wisely, cash therapy is fleeting."
Special Edition and Collector's Edition content is also listed on the store, suggesting that these will also be made available for purchase.
