If you liked the look of BlackBerry's quietly announced Z30 smartphone the wait to get one might not be too painful. The phone will go on sale across the UK on 30 September.
But Carphone Warehouse will be stocking the 5-inch handset at its concession stand in Selfridge stores from Friday 27 September.
The new BlackBerry 10.2 handset is the manufacturer's largest yet, with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) Super AMOLED display (295ppi) and 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor with "quad-core graphics". It also has the largest battery of any BlackBerry phone at 2,880mAh.
BlackBerry 10.2 OS, with its easy swipe controls, is made for the large Z30 display. For the BlackBerry Hub, smart keyboard and Time Shift camera mode combined with a better battery, the Z30 is one impressive handset.
If you pre-order on the Selfridges website now the £600 handset will be distributed on 26 September guaranteeing you're one of the first to own it.
