We've just received invitations from Tesco to meet up and see "something" on the morning of Monday 23 September. With the hashtag LetsHudl we're pretty sure it'll be the rumoured Tesco tablet that's being going by the name of, yep, Hudl.

So check back on Monday for our hands-on coverage of Tesco's first foray into the world of tablets.

At the moment we're expecting a competitor to Amazon's Kindle Fire HD, Google's Nexus 7 and Apple's iPad Mini 2.

If the price range is similar to Amazon, as The Sunday Times speculates, we can expect a £130 device with specs similar to the Kindle Fire HD. But on top of offering its own books, movies and shows, Tesco's tablet will come with apps for online grocery shopping, Tesco banking and its streaming service, Blinkbox.

See you next Monday for full details and photos.
