Become a City whizz kid. For real

22 January 2008 0:00 GMT / By Ian Hughes

One term we often hear bandied around is "City whizz kid".

I never realised that it was a very real breed. This fantasy stocks and shares game is aimed at youngsters with a view to teaching them all about the filthy lucre, the root of all evil, money, money, money.

Parents are always saying that kids these days don't seem to know the value of the stuff. If that's the case in your house then perhaps steer your little darlings towards this fun and educational site, run in association with the Financial Times and Oink the money paper for kids.

The frontrunner at the moment has made a virtual profit of over £12,000. And he's only ten.

Makes you want to weep doesn't it...?
