Home Media Magazine has revealed that last week in the American next-gen DVD sales charts Blu-ray nabbed 85% of high definition disc sales against HD DVD's 15% market share.Depending on which stats you believe, Blu-ray discs have outsold HD DVD by a 2-1 margin over the last year, but these latest figures are significant, not just for the large difference, but because they are the first week's figures since the industry - and consumers - have had a chance to digest Warner Bros' announcement that they are going exclusively Blu.
