Macworld2008: Samsung launches 24- and (almost) 26-inch SyncMasters

"Enhanced entertainment and multimedia capabilities"

At Macworld2008 Samsung has unveiled new SyncMaster 24 (2493HM) and 25.5-inch (2693HM) LCD monitors that the company says are designed "for consumers and commercial users seeking enhanced entertainment and multimedia capabilities".

Featuring full 1080p 1920 x 1200 HD resolution, HDMI inputs, and built-in multimedia speakers, both feature a four-way adjustable stand, providing for height, swivel, tilt and pivot capabilities.

The 2493HM monitor has a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1, and both feature a 5ms GTG response time. The 2493HM monitor is $599, while the 2693HM monitor is $699.
