LG Optimus L9 II photo and specs revealed?
LG plans to launch a mid-range successor to its Optimus L9 called the Optimus L9 II, according to a new report.
Leakster @evleaks, writing for The Unlockr, reported on Sunday that the upcoming handset will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. It will also boast a 4.7-inch 720p display and Qualcomm’s dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon S4 SoC with Adreno 305 graphics.
Other specs include 1GB of RAM, 8GB expandable internal storage and a 2150 mAh battery. As for the cameras, the Optimus L9 II will allegedly sport a 8MP rear camera and 1.3MP front camera.
The leaked image, also provided by @evleaks, reveals a device that looks very similar to the Optimus L9 - but a capacitive button has apparently replaced the physical home button. The Optimus L9 originally released last autumn running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
There's no official word from LG yet on the LG Optimus L9 II, probably because the company is busy peddling its high-end LG G2, though the L9 II might launch before the end of the month. There's also no information on pricing.
