First Canon brought Wi-Fi, for digital camera sharing ease like on the original PowerShot N, now there is a Facebook button with instant artistic photo options. Meet the Canon PowerShot N Facebook – a currently US-only digital camera.
The 12.1MP digital snapper automatically offers five artistic versions of your photo after you take a shot so you can instantly share them using the Facebook Connect Button. Check them first on the 2.8in tilt-touch panel LCD before sending them off to be judged by your Facebook friends.
But I've got a 13MP camera on my phone, that doesn't require Wi-Fi to send, we hear you say. Good point. But in fairness the CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5 image processor combined with the PowerShot N Facebook's 28mm wide angle lens, capable of 8x optical zoom, should produce better shots that most mobiles. Maybe not the Nokia Lumia 1020. It can also manage 1080p video, facial recognition, and uses Canon's Intelligent IS System for auto optical image stabilisation.
The Canon PowerShot N Facebook will be available in America in white from September for $300.
