Sennheiser says its latest earphones are its highest performing to date.

The Sennheiser CX 95 Style earphones are priced £79.95.

They boast a new ergonomic design, which Sennheiser says delivers "exceptional sound and effective noise-isolation".

The new angle design has a small arm tilted forward, which "ensures that the cable is routed cleanly to the ear from the front and the shape of the housing ensures that the 95 is always positioned ideally in the ear", says the manufacturer.

The CX 95 is supplied with three different sized ear adapters in soft, silicone rubber.

Sennheiser says that newly developed cables reduce handling noise and their efficiency helps prolong battery life on iPods and all portable devices.

The earphones are supplied with a 1m extension cable, a hard shell case, three sizes of ear adapter and a 2-year warranty.
