Following the launch of Google+ sign-in integration in May, SoundCloud is now introducing the ability to share any SoundCloud URL to Google+ circles with embeddable widgets for posts.
In other words, thanks to the new SoundCloud widget, Google+ users will be able to play SoundCloud sounds directly from Google+. There's no longer a need to open a new tab in the web browser.
However, users will need to enable the SoundCloud widget when they post sounds for sharing. Artists currently using the new SoundCloud integration on Google+ include Pearl Jam, Snoop Lion and Armin Van Buuren.
"We’re always excited to develop new ways to make it easy for you to share and hear sounds everywhere," wrote SoundCloud on Monday via its official blog.
SoundCloud is a service that allows users to upload, record and share sound files. It's also a social media site for music, distribution platform for artists, DJs and podcasts, as well as a music discovery tool.
