Porsche designed BlackBerry P'9982 leaked, suggested to retail for $2,000

BlackBerry and Porsche look to be continuing their smartphone developing ways with another pricey Porsche designed handset in the BlackBerry arsenal. The first was the P'9981 in 2012, a revamped version of the Bold 9900. Now it's the BlackBerry Z10's turn in 2013.

Vietnam-based publication Tinhte has dropped several photos of the reported P'9982 handset, showing a BlackBerry Z10-like design wrapped around an expensive Porsche exterior. Specifications weren't provided along with the pictures, but if history repeats itself, the expensive price tag brings a sleeker design of a leather back and aluminum frame - not a faster processor. However, the P'9982 will get a unique BlackBerry 10 UI.

So just how much will you be dropping for this automobile-matching handset? According to N4BB, the P'9982 is said to be priced at $2,000 - certainly no small price for a smartphone. Tinhte says we won't see the P'9982 until the middle of next year.
