Something a little different in the bland iPod speaker dock arena, the new BooM China by TwinMOS has been launched to celebrate the Chinese New Year, and China hosting the 2008 Olympic Games.
Created in cahoots with a traditional Chinese painter TwinMOS claims the new speaker "combines art and technology" with its china vase design and would not look out of place on your Mum's mantelpiece.
Compatible with all dockable iPods from the iPod family, the China is a 2.1 audio system offering 8 Watts per channel and a 25 Watt subwoofer.
Complete with remote control, and a Stereo Mini Jack that allows it to work with some mobile phones too, the BooM China also boasts a USB port, TV Out and SD card slot.
The new BooM China will be available from www.urboom.com for £179.99 from March.
