Xbox has partnered with Eurosport to bring brand new sports coverage to Xbox Live. From today Xbox 360 users will be able to watch Eurosport TV live and on demand straight from your games console.

The new Xbox Live Eurosport app also supports gesture controls via Kinect. It will launch in 20 European markets in 13 different languages and will require you to have an Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to access Eurosport and Eurosport 2, as well as catch-up.

Various sporting events will be available via catch-up, including the US Grand Slam, Moto GP and the Women's UEFA championships. The package will be available free for the first three months for those who have 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscriptions.

Microsoft also promises more sports and entertainment apps for the Xbox 360 in the coming months.
