Ubisoft releases Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag gameplay trailer with director commentary

Ubisoft has released a new trailer with director commentary for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, teasing the gameplay's pirates, ships and naval exploration.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is an upcoming video game developed and published by Ubisoft. It's also the sixth installment in the Assassin's Creed series. With that said - today's footage isn't a first glimpse. Ubisoft originally previewed the title at an event in March.

The new trailer posted to YouTube notably features commentary from Game Director Ashraf Ismail. It also shows The Jackdaw ship on a voyage to Havana, where gamers can "learn the rules that Edward and his crew live by, and how they defy the empires of the 18th century". 

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will see an October 2013 release in North America and November release in Europe for PlayStation 3, Wii U, Microsoft Windows and the Xbox 360. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are also in development.
