Skype made its video messaging service available to all Windows, Mac and mobile users this month, and now the company has updated its iOS app with free and unlimited video messaging.
Skype video messaging over mobile previously required a $4.99 a month Skype Premium subscription, although iOS users could send up to 20 video messages for free. However, with Thursday’s update, those same users can now send as many video messages as their hearts' desire - without the premium price tag.
The update also features a number of bug fixes and stability improvements including the ability to share photos more reliably. Other fixes improve audio and video calls and accessibility for video messaging.
