CES 2008: MP3 "Smart Jacket" for joggers

Strapping speakers

9 January 2008 23:36 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

We're not entirely convinced by this design that claims to let you listen to your music freely as you exercise.

Aimed at walkers, joggers, skaters and cyclists the theory is that you plug your MP3 player in and listen to the music via the built-in speakers located on the shoulder straps.

There's a secure zippered pouch for your MP3 player and volume control in an easily reachable position on the front.

The MP3 Smart Jacket is available in orange, yellow and white for high visibility purposes and purple and black for those not worried by such concerns.
