Disney has joined up with Amazon's Lovefilm to offer the best in new and old movies via its Lovefilm Instant streaming service. Movies include the likes of Wall-E and Lady and the Tramp, with more being planned in future.

Simon Morris, chief marketing officer at Lovefilm said: “Disney is renowned for creating world-famous, quality family entertainment that parents can trust; from the earliest animations to modern classics. We are thrilled to enhance our relationship with the launch of Disney Movies on Demand, and even more excited about bringing our members so much new content in the process.”

Disney only recently joined forces with Sky to bring a large section of its catalogue to Sky's own On Demand offering, as well as launching it's own dedicated Disney HD channel.

Netflix, Lovefilm's closest competitor, also added the Disney catalogue to its streaming offering recently. Only last month Netflix announced the partnership with Disney which saw virtually the same movies added to the service.

For those who want to get hold of Lovefilm Instant's Disney collection, the service costs £4.99 a month for unlimited movie watching.
