CES 2008: ATP's green USB "EarthDrive"

Recyclable memory stick

9 January 2008 22:49 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Shown at CES, ATP's EarthDrive is an environmentally friendly flash drive.

Designed with bio-recycled plastic material, the drive's unique housing is also fully recyclable.

As well as these green credentials, the company has teamed up with the American Forest Partnership and a portion of all EarthDrive products sales will go towards planting trees.

And, as an added bonus, the drive is shockproof, waterproof and dustproof too.

Also shown at the stand were two concept project designs for further green flash devices, one made of cork and the other made of plant-based materials.
