Google has shown the new web experience for Google Play during its Google I/O developers conference in San Francisco.
The new version of the only content store has been designed to ape the same look as mobile. Google has been rolling out the revamped Google Play experience to Android smartphones and tablets globally, with the UK getting the service last week, and now the in-browser experience will be greatly improved too.
Like with the new Google Play on mobile devices, the online one adapts to promote the content you're most interested in, and has each of the same sections easily selectable in a side menu.
In addition to the new Google Play experience hitting the web, a few new features are coming to the Android Google Play pages. One, "Designed for Tablets" will promote the applications that are best viewed on tablet devices to the top of the list, so users can find them much more easily than ever before.
Both the mobile and web versions should be updated today, 15 May.
