Nokia has posted a teaser on its Conversations blog for a press event being held in New Delhi tomorrow. The 9 May launch asks: "Ready to add some colour to your week?" A picture is also included of what we presume is part of a phone in Nokia's bright-yellow colour scheme.

We suspect - given the time and place of the launch, as well as the emphasis on colour - that it is a new Nokia Asha device launch. That said, it could very well be something entirely different. Don't forget, Nokia's Lumia devices can be picked up in bright colours as well.

Nokia's most recent Asha device, the Asha 210, shipped in white with a full Qwerty keyboard and a dedicated Facebook or What'sApp button.

Right now, Nokia rumours are all pointing to an aluminium-clad Lumia 928 as the next Nokia flagship. Invitations have been sent out for a London launch event on 14 May which leads us to believe the India-based unveiling is something different. It could very well be a budget Windows Phone - which would be exciting, as previous affordable efforts from Nokia have been very good.
