The Samsung Galaxy S4 hits UK stores so we dedicate this week's Pocket-lint Podcast to the phone that some profess to be the daddy of all Android smartphones.

We interview Kyle Brown, Samsung UK's head of engineering about the device, and the reasons behind the initial UK edition having the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor on board in favour of Samsung's own Exynos 5 octa-core chip. Plus, we review the handset, giving our views on what new features you will and won't use.

Editor of news and features Rik Henderson is joined by founder of Pocket-lint Stuart Miles and editor of reviews Ian Morris.

You can listen to the Pocket-lint Podcast hit here on the site in its regular slot every Friday. Subscribers to iTunes will often get it earlier than everybody else - with the latest edition available anywhere up to 24 hours in advance.
