Yahoo launch Yahoo! Go 3.0

Third-party widgets now allowed

Yahoo has announced the launch of the all-new Yahoo! Go 3.0, Yahoo's flagship all-in-one mobile offering at CES in Las Vegas.

The new mobile software update according to Yahoo, takes mobile services "to the next level" with an upgraded and feature-rich user interface.

Users will be able to personalise the start page and customise the data and information they receive via third-party widgets.

Due to be announced later this week, consumers will also be able to access widgets from eBay, MySpace and MTV by selecting them from the Widget Gallery in Yahoo! Go 3.0.

The software is available on more 30 mobile devices from major manufacturers worldwide and use it on most wireless networks.

Yahoo is hoping to the number of devices worldwide it has said over the coming months.
