CES 2008: Motorola debuts new Bluetooth speakers

Two new speakers and a handful of headsets hit the show floor

Motorola has announced the launch of a number of Bluetooth speakers and headsets at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

At the top of the list is the Motorola EQ5 and EQ7 a pair of wireless Speakers for music and calls.

The Motorola EQ5 Portable Wireless Speaker is a pocket-sized device with a convenient kickstand for standing upright and a rechargeable battery to play music or take calls with wireless freedom.

For the Motorola EQ7 Motorola has teamed up with JBL. The speakers also include a built-in microphone and integrated controls.

On the headset front the company has launched the Motorola S9-HD, an upgraded version of the ROKR S9 that came shipped with the Moto Z8 mobile phone.

The new headset adds surround sound with SRS WOW HD technology while reducing ambient noise and providing more comfort with redesigned ear buds.

Other headsets include the Motorola S605 Bluetooth Stereo Clip Headset, the EH70 Stereo Headset, the EH50 Stereo Headset, the EH25 Stereo Headset and the EH20 Stereo Headset.

No word on pricing or availability.
