Following on from the announcement of a new high speed Exilim camera, Casio has introduced four other models to its line-up of digital compacts.

First up is the Exilim Card EX-S10, which is claimed to be the world’s smallest and thinnest 10.1-megapixel model.

It is 94.2mm wide, 54.6mm high and 15.0mm thin (13.8mm at the thinnest part) and comes in four colours — red, blue, silver and black.

Key features include a 3x optical zoom lens, 1/2.3 inch CCD and 2.7-inch wide LCD offering 230,160 dot high resolution.

The camera also incorporates Casio's Auto Shutter function, which automatically records the moment of a smile or the instant when hand shake ceases.

Motion blur detection technology is also included as is the H.264 video standardfor movies in normal and wide format movies in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Next up is the 8.1-megapixel Exilim Zoom EX-Z80, which is available in six body colours — pale pink, vivid pink, green, blue, black, and silver.

It is claimed to offer very low noise using the Exilim Engine 2.0 image processing module.

Alike the Exilim Card EX-S10, it offers the Auto Shutter function, motion blur detection technology, face detection, H.264 video as well as a new heart shaped focusing frame tool.

Last up, are the 10-megapixel Exilim Zoom EX-Z200 and EX-Z100 — which feature a wide-angle 28 mm lens with 4X optical zoom.

They also include a Super Clear LCD as well as Casio’s Auto Best Shot scene recognition function that automatically chooses an appropriate shooting mode.

The EX-Z200 also adds an anti shake function that compensates for blur by moving the imaging element. Both models incorporate Anti Shake DSP, which reduces blur by raising the camera’s sensitivity and therefore increasing shutter speeds.

Prices have yet to be released.
