Lovefilm signs deal with Warner for more TV series

Lovefilm has expanded its TV line-up of shows available to watch instantly by signing a deal with the TV arm of Warner Bros.

The Amazon-owned movie and TV streaming service has added shows from Warner Bros International Television Distribution, which includes both seasons of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, starring Summer Glau, Thomas Dekker and Game of Thrones' Lena Headey.

In addition, Lovefilm now offers all seasons of The West Wing, One Tree Hill and Nip Tuck.

The Warner TV deal complements the movie deal Lovefilm already had with the studio. The service now also has an extensive range of content from many other major providers, including Miramax, Twentieth Century Fox, NBC Universal, Marvel, Sony Pictures, Disney, ABC, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, STUDIOCANAL and eOne.

"This latest content deal with Warner Bros. is hugely exciting for TV fans as even more fantastic must-see content goes live on Lovefilm Instant, including iconic titles such as The West Wing and Nip Tuck," said Chris Bird, director of film strategy at the company.
