Out from the shadows has popped the rather unfortunately named ZTE Geek with - and this is crucial - a 2GHz Intel Clover Trail+ chip inside.

Spotted at the Intel Developer Forum in Beijing, the Geek was sitting at ZTE's booth. The phone runs on Android Jelly Bean and uses the same Intel processor as Lenovo's K900. It also sports a 5-inch 720p display, 8-megapixel camera and a 1-megapixel front-facer.

Inside you get 8GB of storage space to play with as well as 1GB of RAM. Keeping everything ticking over nicely is a 2,3000 mAh battery which is also capable of wireless charging. Finally you have the full a/b/g/n gamut of Wi-Fi and a 3G chip inside.

Finished in white, the prototype handset spotted in Beijing looks very similar to the ZTE Grand S, the company's current flagship phone. Expect it to be the first in a long line of Intel-powered handsets this year.

Fingers crossed that ZTE changes the name. Geek is topped only by the likes of the BLU Tank and Spice M-5365 Boss Killer, which yes, is a real thing.
