The folks in Mountain View have pushed an update out for their Google Drive for iOS app available on the App Store.
The free, version 1.3 update adds landscape viewing and editing support in both documents and spreadsheets. Given that landscape mode is found useful by a select few users who find their fingers cramped within portrait, this seems like a no-brainer functionality.
Google has also updated Google Docs within the Drive app to load faster with quicker editing support.
Minor bug fixes are also present in the update, which is now available on the App Store. The update puts it on a par with the Android app that was updated with landscape mode in February.
