Logitech has gone PC mad, announcing eight new PC gaming-specific products including headphones, keyboards and mice.

All the new Logitech kit fits nicely into the brand's G range of products. This means clever technology all set up to give gamers the edge.

So what has it announced, exactly? First up: four new mice, starting with a top-spec £60 laser G700s with dual-mode scroll wheel and rechargeable battery. Then there's the G500, G400 which is an optical mouse and finally the G100s. A full price list is on Logitech's website.

Next is a range of new keyboards, going from the top-spec G19s, which retails for £179 and has an additional screen to show game stats and info. Then we have the G510s which has the similar GamePanel tech, on sale at £99.

Finally we have the G230 gaming headset. This includes 4mm neodymium drivers and a mode select button on the side of the headphones. The G230 will cost £54.99. The top of the line headset from Logitech is the G430, with surround sound and a ice blue colour scheme. This will retail at £70.

Logitech has created a specific gaming brand with the new G range. It means the company will continue its plans for PC gaming, which had previously looked like they might come to an end. The rebranded line also brings with it some of the best-in-class tech PC gamers would want, with customisable buttons and clever fingerprint-resistant coatings.
