White is so last season darling. Purveyors of cool, Bamford and Sons in London have created a 6Gb Black iPod mini for those looking for something a bit different and they haven't done a deal with U2 before you ask.

Priced at £275 it's a tad more than you would expect to pay for a standard 6Gb iPod Mini (about £106 more), but then you wouldn't get the shiny black paint job.

Although the colouring process is being kept a closely guarded secret the company has suggested they can make any colour to order to suit your mood.

Those wishing to see the model in the flesh can pop down to the Bamford and Sons shop in Notting Hill, London.

Bamford and Sons' say their ambition is to make beautifully-designed, practical clothes which give our customers lasting pleasure, this Black iPod certainly hopes to fufill that mission.
