Harman Go+Play wireless speaker adds wireless Bluetooth playback

Audio company Harman Kardon has unveiled its latest speaker, dubbed the Go+Play Wireless and aimed at portability and wireless playback.

The Go+Play Wireless features the ability to playback from any Bluetooth-enabled device. Two Atlas woofers and two Ridge tweeters are included in the 20-inch x  9-inch "sleek, modern industrial design" to provide "superior sound and style designed to move you".

Harman has also included volume, mute, and unmute touch-control right on the speaker system. Those features can be controlled directly from the music player on the device or from a free Harman Kardon remote app from the App Store.

The Bluetooth functionality is utilised by Harman's TrueStream technology which can keep eight devices in its memory for an immediate connection. It also offers better sound performance by selecting the best available codec, according to the company.

Lastly, for users who don't prefer Bluetooth, the Go+Play wireless features a standard 3.5mm stereo input jack for wired playback. A USB port is also provided for device charging, but no dock is present for playback.

The Go+Play Wireless continues the line of Go+Play speakers. It will be available in the UK at the end of March, starting at £279.99 and available in both white and black.
