Microsoft has announced further availability for both its Surface RT and Surface Pro tablets, beginning in late March.
Most notably, the Surface Pro will go beyond the US and Canada, into the UK, Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong and New Zealand to reach a whole new group of customers.
The Surface Pro, which launched in US and Canada in February, saw a quick sell-out on its opening weekend. It wasn't clear if the sellout was due to limited supply or a huge demand, though it's worth noting that a few stores saw Apple launch-like lines. Will the UK see similar?
Furthermore, the Surface RT availability will expand beyond 15 or so markets into Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan.

Microsoft hasn't provided a specific release date for the countries. However Ben Reed, Senior Manager of the Surface team, confirmed to Pocket-lint that we should see further details of the UK release in the coming weeks, rather than months.
Do you plan on picking up a Surface RT or Surface Pro?
