Crysis 3 has been released by Electronic Arts for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC today and to celebrate, the publisher body-painted Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts in a skin-tight (literally) Nanosuit to celebrate. Which is nice.
But I'm a Celebrity... and Dancing on Ice stars in their skimpies aside, that wasn't the thing that most caught our eye around the launch of the third in the FPS franchise. Instead, it was RatedRR, Richard Ryan's crazy YouTube weekly show that captures our attention. He's taken the idea of the exploding arrows in the new game and made them for real. For. Real.
In a move that is most definitely not recommended to try at home, he experiments with two types of explosive arrows - one in which the blast emanates from the rear, and one where it explodes from the tip on impact. Both are devastating, as a helpless melon finds out.
Maybe there's something in these games after all...
Crysis 3 is set in a future New York, which has been overgrown by a jungle after the devastation in Crysis 2. Pocket-lint will be posting our review of the game soon.
