Apple has released iTunes 11.0.2, now available in software update via the Mac App Store, as it works to improve iTunes 11 with another incremental release.
Besides the bug fixes and speed enhancements as per usual, the 54.2MB software update has added a new Composer view for Music, improved responsiveness for large playlists, and a bug fix for purchases that do not show up in iTunes, 9to5mac first reported.
Apple released iTunes 11 to much fanfare in September, bringing some major changes to the platform alongside its new iOS devices. The clunkiness of iTunes 10 and a slew of new player features were made available in the update, but several users noted the need for more enhancements.
The release of iTunes 11.0.2 comes after the folks in Cupertino released iOS 6.1.2 with several fixes.
iTunes 11.0.2 is also available directly from Apple's support website.
