Nike has no plans for Fuelband Android app, will focus on iOS instead
Nike has announced that it is no longer working on an Android app to accompany its Nike FuelBand, no doubt disappointing many users.
Nike dropped the bomb on its official Twitter support account and later issued a statement to Droid-life with more on the decision.
"To deliver the best experience for all Nike+ FuelBand users, we are focusing on the FuelBand experience across iOS and nikeplus.com, where you can sync your activity, set new goals, and connect with friends," said Nike. "At this time, we are not working on an Android version of the mobile app."

This comes after Nike promised an Android app for the middle of 2012, but now the company doesn't plan to deliver.
We imagine many Android users who have worked hard to achieve points through the Fuel system, which rewards meeting fitness goals, will see this as a serious bummer.
