PNY Technologies has announced the launch of the new Attaché Optima, the latest member of the Attaché "Capless" concept range.

The Attaché Optima, which Vista users will be happy to note is enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost, is described as an affordable alternative to the expensive flash drives currently on the market.

With an average writing speed of 10MB/s, PNY say the Attaché OPTIMA offers high performance at a great price.

Available in two capacities, 4GB and 8GB, the drive comes complete with the "Carry It Easy" software - 128 bit AES encryption will protect your data whilst synchronising your internet favourites, data and mail box.

The 4GB version has a recommended price of £28.99, while the 8GB option goes for £57.99.
