PSP to get Skype?

CES rumour sees handheld go VoIP

2 January 2008 18:14 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

Although CES does not officially begin until 7th January, news sites and tech blogs are already buzzing with rumours about what might be announced at the show.

One of the latest suggestions from the blogosphere comes from Sony's official CES site. Their CES preview page mentions a Skype client for the handheld console leading to speculation that this will be one of the big announcements.

Here in the UK, we are due to see the results of BT and Sony's VoIP team up for the PSP this month, so timing-wise an American Skype partnership is not beyond the realms of possibility.

Pocket-lint will be bringing you all the latest tech, gadget and gaming news from CES so keep it here for more info.
