Microvision to show mobile projector

Tech show must-have box ticked, CES will have super small projector...

2 January 2008 17:56 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

It seems no gigantic tech show is complete without a mobile projector to make us gasp with the concept of having such a way to watch movies in our pockets.

Texas Instruments are usually the ones to roll out the super small prototypes but at this year's CES they have competition from the aptly named Microvision.

Their "SHOW" is a plug and play "pico" projector that is described as a handheld, stand-alone projector capable of projecting a 12-inch to 100-inch, 848 x 480 WVGA image for up to 2.5 hours on a single charge.

Pocket-lint will be attending CES and will bring you news of the SHOW, as well as all other breaking gadget news, live from the show floor.
