Nikon's Coolpix L27 and L28 cameras are megapixel-tastic. The L27 features a 16-megapixel sensor with a 5x optical zoom stuck on the front. The L28 goes one better, with a 20-megapixel sensor.
The L27 ships with a 2.7-inch LCD, while the L28 is a 3-inch screen. Both can shoot 720p video and both are powered by AA batteries.
Nikon has also thrown in its Easy Auto Mode which optimises the cameras by setting, so you only need to hit the shutter button. Then there is motion blur reduction, smart portraits and even a smile timer.
The L27 will ship in a purple lineart decorate form, exclusive to Argos, as well as black, red, silver and white. It will be priced in at £69 and go on sale on 21 February. The L28 will cost £89 and ship on the same day in pink, red, silver and black.
