Zout alors! Another year gone, eh? How'd those resolutions pan out for you? Yeah, me too - all those grand plans have amounted to pretty much naff all.But this is where I turn over a new leaf and I'll be using this site almost daily.
Probably.
Mango Languages is a free (yay!) online tool that gives you simple to follow lessons on the basics of your chosen language. In my case this is French and sacre bleu, it's useful.
The podcasts are indispensible as you can take your lesson with you and once you've got over the self-consciousness of talking to yourself in pigeon French on a crowded bus - it's great. Alternatively, if you're posh, you can burn it to CD and do it in the privacy of your own car.
Mon dieu, what will they think of next...?
