Philips has launched the Philips Fidelio S2 and Fidelio in-ear headphones at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, bringing high-quality audio to your ears.
Carrying the Fidelio brand, Philips says the sound signature has been refined through research with discerning listeners; we've certainly been impressed with the quality of previous Fidelio audio products.
The new headphones offer 13.5mm neodymium drivers which are said to deliver deep bass within a balanced and natural sound profile.
The Philips Fidelio S2 is the premium model with a copper alloy housing designed to be lightweight but durable, which is engineered to reduce unwanted vibration so your music comes across as it was meant to sound. The S2 also feature a multi-layered diaphragm driver designed to damp resonance at high frequencies.
You get a selection of tips, including two Comply Foam Tip, as well as the normal silicone selection in five different sizes.
The Philips Fidelio S1 headphones take a slight step down, with fewer tip choices, as well as an aluminium enclosure rather than copper. They also offer only a single layer diaphragm, so will cost you a little less.
The Philips Fidelio S2 headphones will cost €149; the Fidelio S1 are slightly cheaper at €99.
